Installation

No, we market our products as DIY solutions, so we do not provide installation services for our materials. We can provide manufacturer documentation including install guides, install diagrams, and install videos for all our available items

Aluminum

Aluminum is naturally rust-resistant, meaning it doesn’t degrade due to oxidation caused by iron and oxygen. This lightweight material is easy to work with and is used on our handrails and posts to provide a durable material suited for all climates. For further protection our aluminum is also anodized, a process that thickens the natural oxide layer on a metal part's surface into an anodic oxide film which protects against corrosion.

Powder Coated Steel

The powder coating applied to our steel creates a barrier to protect against many different types of corrosion, including rust. Many natural metals like steel rust over time with exposure to moisture and oxygen. Powder-coating creates a protective barrier, so the metal remains rust-free in all climates.

Stainless Steel

304 stainless steel is one of the most popular types of stainless steel. It’s a member of the austenitic family of stainless steels, which means that 304 stainless also contains 18 percent chromium and 8 percent nickel. This is a uniquely well-balanced combination that produces several desirable material qualities.

  • Exemplifies the corrosion resistance and aesthetic attraction that stainless steel is known for
  • Extremely easy to clean and maintain
  • Even more resistant to heat than other stainless steel types
  • Attractive and classy appearance

These characteristics allow 304 stainless steel to provide great performance while maintaining a reasonable cost

(Warning/Disclaimer) Grade 304 is one step below marine grade 316 stainless steel, which means it can be susceptible to rust when installed near saltwater environments. The exact safe distance from salt water is dependent on local climate and we are unable to provide an exact measurement for all locations. However, if you are concerned about the long-term application of our stainless products there are numerous wax and sealant treatments that can be applied for additional protection and mitigate any future rust issues.

Beech Wood

Beech wood is a very hard wood, and it is an excellent choice for furniture and flooring. It can withstand heavy loads and is not prone to scratches and dents. Due to its density and hardness, it holds nails and screws very well. With is straight grain and fine uniform texture it holds polish and paint well and provides an excellent finish. Beech Wood is a stable wood for indoor use, but it can cause problems if exposed to moisture. For this reason, all our beech wood products are designed for interior use only.

Prova handrails are designed to be cut down using common household tools such as hack saws, chop (miter) saws, or circular saws. Please ensure the appropriate blade (metal vs wood) is affixed to your cutting tool. Prova stainless steel tube infill can be cut using the same methods as our handrails or a standard pipe cutting tool that support metal up to a 3/8” diameter. Prova stainless steel cable can be cut with a simple handheld cable cutter to ensure the cleanest end to prevent cable unraveling

For Prova Railing we offer post mounting hardware for wood, composite, and concrete surfaces. Dolle staircase kits also come included with mounting hardware for both wood and concrete flooring.
