  • The Insta-Rail® Vertical Cable Railing Kit is an affordable and contemporary stainless steel vertical infill railing kit. Compatible with new or existing framing, Insta-Rail® can be used on both wood and composite decking materials. If you are looking to breathe new life into your space, Insta-Rail® is the perfect, convenient way to upgrade your current deck railing and replace existing wood pickets or spindles.

See the difference with Insta-Rail®! Enjoy newly opened sightlines and a maintenance free railing solution. Made with 1/8-inch diameter premium stainless-steel cables, each Insta-Rail® kit will complete a railing area 72 inches long and is designed for railings measuring 36 inches in total height. Kits can be combined or cut down to complete any length project. Insta-Rail® vertical cable lengths are not adjustable and require an install area 24-1/2 inches to 24-3/4 inches between the top and bottom rails of your framing- see reference guide for details.

Comprised of grade 304 stainless steel, these kits are not suited for saltwater climates. Installation is DIY friendly and can be completed with household tools.

Depending on installation method, condition of existing framing, natural cable flexing, and testing procedures by a local inspector, these kits may result in code failure for exceeding the 4-inch maximum baluster to baluster test. For 100% code compliance we recommend using our Insta-Rail® Tube railing kit which provides zero flex.
